Effective date: 11 October 2026
This policy covers the MedNinja Android app (com.medninja.android), our website at medninjafree.web.app, and information you send to us for support.
Which version this covers: The advertising section applies to MedNinja versions that include Google AdMob. Earlier versions released without the advertising SDK do not request AdMob ads or gain advertising features simply because this policy changes. The advertising update must be installed for those features to apply. Other sections describe the app's study features, website, and support service.
1. Who to contact
MedNinja's Google Play developer name is Ihsan Afridi. The business named in the public Google Play developer details is PAKHTUN TECHNOLOGIES (PRIVATE) LIMITED, Pakistan.
For privacy questions, support, or requests about information you have sent us, email askihsanafridi@gmail.com.
2. Study features and information on your device
MedNinja provides medical study material and quiz practice. You do not need a MedNinja account. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or medical records, and does not access your contacts, camera, or microphone.
Study content is bundled with the app. Your selected paper, answers, progress, and score are processed on your device to operate the quiz. Quiz state is held temporarily in memory. The current app does not save a permanent quiz history, upload your answers to a MedNinja server, or synchronise them across devices. Restarting a quiz resets its answers and score.
We do not operate a separate custom analytics service or third-party crash-reporting integration for your study activity. Ad-supported versions include Google's advertising and consent services, whose processing is described in section 6. Advertising measurement and diagnostics are not excluded by this statement. Google Play and Android services are separate, as described below.
3. Google Play updates, Android, and sharing
MedNinja uses Google Play's in-app update service to check whether an update is available and to offer installation through Google Play. Google may process information needed to deliver and manage updates under its own privacy policy. Quiz answers are not sent to this update service by MedNinja.
Google Play, Android, and your device manufacturer may separately process information about installation, device operation, and diagnostics under their own policies and your settings. This is distinct from a MedNinja analytics or crash-reporting service.
Android backup and device transfer are enabled for eligible app data and depend on your device settings. Temporary quiz state held only in memory is not saved by MedNinja as a backup file. Manage available backup options through Android and your backup provider.
If you choose to share the app or a score, Android opens a sharing menu. The app you choose receives the message you decide to send and handles it under its own privacy policy. MedNinja does not automatically publish your results.
4. Website and Blogger hosting
Our main website uses Google Firebase Hosting. Visiting a page sends ordinary web request information, including your IP address and requested page, to the hosting infrastructure. Firebase processes information to provide hosting, protect against abuse, and understand service usage. Google's Firebase documentation describes its processing and retention practices; these are managed by Google rather than by an app quiz-history database.
We do not add advertising scripts, advertising cookies, custom analytics scripts, account registration, or a contact form to the Firebase website. Contact links open your email service. This does not mean that the hosting provider receives no technical request information.
A copy of this policy may also be published on Blogger. Blogger is a separate Google service and may use cookies and process technical information under Google's policies and the blog's settings. Following links to Google Play or another website also brings you under that service's policies.
Read Google's Privacy Policy, Firebase's privacy information, and Google's information about cookies.
5. Information you send for support
When you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or other details you choose to provide. We use them to respond, investigate a reported problem, and handle related follow-up. Please do not send patient information, medical records, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Email providers process this correspondence to deliver and store it. We do not sell support correspondence or use it to target advertising. We may need to disclose information when required by applicable law or to protect rights and security.
6. Advertising and your privacy choices
Ad-supported versions use Google AdMob to show a banner on the home screen. We do not place ads inside active quizzes or add full-screen or rewarded ads in this implementation. Ads require an internet connection; bundled study content remains usable without an ad loading. Selecting an ad may open a service or destination with its own privacy policy.
Google's advertising SDK automatically collects and shares technical information for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. This includes your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, performance diagnostics, and advertising, app-set or applicable device/account identifiers. Availability of identifiers and other processing depend on device settings, SDK behaviour and privacy choices. Google describes this processing in its advertising SDK data disclosure.
MedNinja does not request location permission or provide GPS coordinates to the ad service. Approximate location inferred from an IP address is different from GPS access. We do not supply your quiz answers, scores, selected medical topics, support messages, or patient information as advertising targeting data.
We use Google's User Messaging Platform to manage applicable consent and opt-out messages. It processes consent-related information and stores privacy choices. At app launch, the app checks the consent service and shows a message when required. The app requests ads only when that service indicates that an ad request is permitted; this does not always mean consent to personalised advertising was given.
Where available, open Privacy choices on the home screen, beside the privacy policy link below Share, to review or change your choice. Depending on your region and the message shown, you can decline personalised advertising, manage consent, or opt out of sale or sharing for advertising. These options are offered when Google's consent service indicates that the privacy control is required. Reading this policy or continuing to use MedNinja is not consent to personalised advertising. Declining consent does not prevent you from using the study features. Depending on applicable settings and requirements, limited or non-personalised ads may still be served.
You can also manage available advertising identifier controls in Android settings. Changing a choice affects subsequent processing according to the relevant service and does not undo processing that has already occurred. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps, and Google's advertising privacy information.
7. Retention and deletion
There is no MedNinja account or server-side quiz history to delete. Temporary quiz answers are removed when the quiz is reset or the app process ends. You can clear the app's storage or uninstall it through Android settings. Any platform backup copies are managed separately by your backup provider.
Advertising and consent services may retain their own records under Google's policies and the applicable choices and requirements. Clearing MedNinja's storage or uninstalling it does not automatically delete information already processed on Google's servers. We do not control Google's retention schedules or promise that we can directly erase information it controls independently.
We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, resolve a dispute, or meet applicable legal obligations. Email and hosting providers may retain their own operational or backup records under their policies.
To request deletion of support correspondence we hold, email askihsanafridi@gmail.com and identify the relevant request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request concerns you. We will explain any information that must be retained.
8. Your choices and rights
You can choose not to email us, not to share a score, and not to follow external links. You can manage app storage, backups, and available Google privacy settings through your device and Google account.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us using the email above to make a request. Where applicable, you may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority. Requests about information controlled separately by Google or another service should also be directed to that provider.
9. Security and international processing
Quiz processing happens locally on your device. The Firebase website is served over HTTPS. Google states that its advertising SDK encrypts collected user data in transit using TLS. Support correspondence should be accessible only to people who need it to handle the request. No device, website, or communication service can guarantee absolute security.
Google and email providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their published policies and applicable service terms explain their processing locations and safeguards.
10. Children and medical information
MedNinja is intended for medical students and graduates preparing for examinations; it is not designed as a service for young children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through MedNinja or our support service, contact us so we can investigate and address the request, including involving the relevant service provider where appropriate.
MedNinja is an educational study aid, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a medical condition and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app does not provide a place to enter patient records or personal health histories.
11. Policy changes
We will revise this policy when the app, website, or information-handling practices change and update the effective date. Material changes will be explained through appropriate notices alongside the affected service or release.
